Sweeper 1.00 ------------ by Grekim Jennings Sweeper is a program to test the frequency response of your room. Features: --------- - Adjustable Q, number of bands, starting frequency, and sweep length. - Ending frequency is calculated automatically - Analysis is printed to the screen in tab separated columns for import into a spreadsheet. - Data is also printed to a file called sweep_out.txt. (Note: Data will be continually appended, so periodically delete this file unless you want to keep all the data.) - Several presets are included. Setup: ------ Connect a line OUT of channel 2 of your audio interface to the line IN of channel 2. Be sure to avoid any feedback loops by disabling any monitoring. This loop in channel 2 serves to sync input and output. Plug your test microphone into channel 1 input. Connect the output of channel 1 to a mixer or splitter to feed your amp and speakers. BE SURE TO TURN YOUR AMPLIFIER OR MIXER TO A LOW SETTING BEFORE USING THIS PROGRAM! This is very important to do until you get a feel for how loud the output is. The output signal is a -6 dBFS sine wave that sweeps through your chosen bandwidth. Run the program in the command terminal.
